Dairy Producers of New Mexico is a member driven organization. Full membership (Producer Membership) is only open to active dairy farmers in New Mexico and Southwest Texas. DPNM’s policies and activities are set and administered by our board of dairy producer directors. Membership in Dairy Producers of New Mexico provides many benefits including a voice in State and Federal Legislature as well as pertinent news updates to help keep Producers informed. Below, you can find the eligibility requirements to become a Producer Member, as well as an extended list of benefits.
Associate Membership is open to individuals and businesses allied with the dairy industry. DPNM relies on our partnership with associate members to help support our mission and our producers. Associate members are the first folks invited to our annual Convention/Trade Show, Auction, and Golf Tournament as well as receive our Dairy Mailing List! Each tier of Associate Membership (Silver, Gold, Platinum) comes with different benefits and opportunities for your business, which can be found below.
As a Trade Organization, Dairy Producers of New Mexico (DPNM) represents the interests of all producers, regardless of cooperative membership or status in New Mexico and West Texas. A Producer Membership will also give you additional access to the private Dairy Producers web page with a log-in. There, you will have exclusive access to contacts, events, helpful news updates, links, and the online version of our monthly news letter. This page will be regularly updated and is a valuable resource in these everchanging times. (Membership Page coming soon!)
Producer Member benefits include:
Producer Members must file an application with Dairy Producers of New Mexico for approval. Current dues for in-state members are one cent ($0.01) per hundred weight of milk based on all pounds of milk sold or delivered. Current dues for West Texas members are 1/4 of a cent ($0.0025) per hundred weight of milk based on all pounds of milk sold or delivered.

Join one of the 120 + Associate Members that help us support our dairymen! There are three levels of Associate Member: Silver ($800), Gold ($1000), and Platinum ($1500).
Not only will you be supporting your local dairy producers in their efforts to feed the country, but each level of Associate Membership also gives you a different set of perks. Some highlights include: Platinum Members are invited to all Dairy Producers of New Mexico Board Meetings per year as well as given an opportunity for a brief presentation. There are also exclusive opportunities for prominently placed advertisements in our Udder Report newsletter. Gold Members receive a membership plaque and a discount on advertising in our monthly newsletter (Udder Report). Silver Members are given the opportunity to advertise in our monthly newsletter and also receive our Dairy Mailing List.
